Midas (Abamectin 1.9% EC) is a broad-spectrum insecticide and acaricide that's used to control a variety of pests and insects on crops:
How it works: Midas is a contact and stomach poison that disrupts the nervous system of pests. It binds to chloride channels in the pests' nerve cells, which causes the cell membrane to hyperpolarize and the pest to paralyze and die.
What it's used for: Midas be used to treat mites and leaf miners, and protect against major parasites and some predatory mites.
Safety: Midas is a product of natural origin and is considered safe for mammals.
Recommended dosage: Mix 1 ml of Midas per 1 liter of water, or 150 ml for 200 liters of water per acre.
